Kyle Anderson

Kyle received his Masters of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2009 and is certified to receive a call to an ordained position in the Presbyterian (USA) church. He currently works for Logos Bible Software but has a background in both college and youth ministry. He loves reading theology, especially Karl Barth. He is often found preaching or teaching at churches in Whatcom County. He is a music junkie who obsessively compiles best of lists that nobody reads. He believes that cheering on the Portland Timbers in the North End of Jeld-Wen Stadium is the happiest place on earth. His wife Lindsay works for the INN University Ministries. They have two children.

Lindsay Anderson

As a mom, wife, and senior staffer at the INN University Ministries, Lindsay’s days are filled with play-doh, heart-felt conversations about faith, and lots of coffee. One of the things Lindsay loves best is helping others grow in understanding of God’s story and discovering what it means for him to transform their story. Lindsay graduated from WWU in 2002 with a B.A. in Human Services and has been married to Kyle since December of the same year. They have two kids, Rory (6) and Max (2), and celebrate the victory of getting through another day in this crazy stage of life by laughing together each night at episodes of Parks and Recreation.

Doug Bunnell

I am privileged to be the Pastor of FPC, the husband of Laurie, and the father of Zoe. I feel so blessed to be in a job that I love in a community that brings me joy and life every day. I will not be blogging per se as every text that we come across on Sunday will be a repeat- but every week on Sunday I will post my branching out- a series of questions around the text for Sunday Worship. As well I will post the month’s memory verse and the week’s reading schedule.

Vicki Weeks

My personal encounter with Jesus began at a Presbyterian Church camp as a 10 year old but it took many years for me to respond! Forty years to be exact! From that point on, life became very different. Upon graduating from Fuller and completing the requirements for Ordination of Word and Sacrament, I served two churches as an Associate Pastor and then served a Superintendent of the Covenant Church. Several years later in a tiny ELCA mountain church I discovered a sincere love for liturgy. And…just when I thought there could be no greater blessings, God brought me a wonderful husband (David) to share with my entire family. My mother (Kay, now 91) has been with me over 20 years and what a delight she is! I am so blessed…grandmother of 10, mother of 4, daughter and wife of a funny, kind and caring man. We are all so glad to be here in Bellingham and particularly to be associated with FPC…it is like we have returned to the church where it all began.
